Rd. 20.8 <br />Trinidad, CO 81082 <br />Golden Eagle Mine <br />TDN 07-140-116-002 transmittal <br />August 3, 2007 <br />This Mine Site Evaluation Inspection Report (MSEIR) is transmitting Ten-Day Notice (TDN) <br />07-140-116-002 to the Colorado Division of Reclamation, Mining, and Safety (DBMS) and the <br />permittee. <br />This TDN is being issued as the result of Citizen Complaint 07-140-002 received in the Office of <br />Surface Mining (OSM), Denver Field Division (DFD) on August 1, 2007. <br />The Citizen Complaint alleges 2 violations of the approved DBMS regulatory program, as <br />follows, and OSM /DFD have reason to believe these violations exist based on the information <br />provided in the Citizen Complaint. <br />Violation # 1: The pemuttee does not have a valid DBMS written approval for Colorado Permit <br />C-8]-013, Golden Eagle Mine. <br />Violation # 2: The permittee has failed to provide DBMS a valid public liability insurance <br />certificate for Colorado Permit C-81-013, Golden Eagle Mine. <br />See the attached MSEIR and TDN. <br />Please direct any questions concerning this action to Henry Austin haustin(a,osmre.gov or to <br />(303) 844-1400 x146b. <br />
