Dear Mr. Ranney: Cottonwood Land Company (CLC) requests to modify the above referenced NOI . This modification request consists of the addition of thirteen exploration drill holes to the previously permitted eighteen. These proposed drill locations are labeled PDH-19 through PDH-31 . Drill hole and access route locations are illustrated on the attached Map 1, as revised December, 1996. Table 1, identifies the location, depths, areas of disturbance, and ownership. Surface use agreements have been secured with the appropriate land owners. Copies of the currently available agreements are attached. The remainder of the agreements will be forwarded to your attention prior to commencement of activities on those spe properties . CLC has also filed a modification to Exploration Permit No. 2575 with the State Board of Land Commissioners . Exploration activities will not commence until this modification is approved. Table 2, is presented to assist in the determination of reclamation bond estimates relative to this modification . CLC currently has on file Bond #333845 in the amount of $150, 000 which is in excess of the required $108, 573 . 00 by $41 , 427 . Cottonwood Land Company estimates that reclamation costs of this modification will not exceed $124, 285, and proposes to file an additional bond in the amount of $100, 000 . CLC understands that all conditions and stipulations as identified in the NOI application and the acceptance document of May 28, 1996 will be applied to this modification .
