No comments were submitted during that time.
The Division's proposed decision of June 13, 1995 is now final. The
reclamation liability at the Marr Strip Mine has been reduced from an
original total mine liability of $4,510,644 to a new total mine
liability of $2,339,428. This reduction of total mine liability, in
the amount of $2,171,216, is a 60% reduction of the total 720 Pit
original liability of $3,618,694.
We have enclosed, for your benefit, a copy of the Division's proposed
decision document, along with a copy of the July 6, 1995 letter from
the U.S. Office of Surface Mining, concurring with our proposed
decision.
Please do not hesitate to call us if there is anything more we may
provide.
Sincerely,
Daniel I.
