INSPECTION REPORT <br />DATE: March 30, 1995 <br />MINE: Rimrock <br />PERMIT NO.: C-89-074 <br />COMPANY: Rimrock Coal Company <br />1350 17th ST., Suite #350 <br />Denver, Colorado 80202 <br />(303) 534-3348 <br />PARTICIPANTS: Janet Binns, DMG <br />Russ Porter, OSMRE <br />This was a complete random sample inspection of the above <br />referenced mine. The weather during the inspection was cloudy <br />and cold with some light snow. Approximately one inch of snow <br />was on the ground. <br />RECORDS REVIEW <br />PERMIT: The current permit expires on 12/12/95. The permitted <br />acreage totaled 38 and 7.11 acres have been disturbed. Of the <br />7.11 disturbed acres, 6.23 acres has received a phase 1 bond <br />release. <br />LIABILITY INSURANCE: The initial review of the certificate of <br />insurance indicated that Landmark Reclamation, Inc. was the <br />insured. The policies listed on the certificate were not tied <br />to any operation or site since the block for the description <br />of the operation was left blank. The Division of Minerals and <br />Geology has since provided another certificate which was <br />issued on 04/04/95. This certificate still shows Landmark <br />Reclamation, Inc. as the insured, however, in the block <br />listing the description of operations which are covered by the <br />policies, Rim Rock Coal Company is shown as an additional <br />insured and the Rimrock Coal Mine, permit C-89-074 as the <br />operation insured. <br />since there was a question as to the coverage for Rim Rock <br />Coal Company, Lockton Silversmith, Inc., the producer, was <br />contacted.
