This was not a complete, detailed review. I will do that once we determine <br />what, if any, additional data TCC has, but did not submit. Here is what I found; <br />Bedrock and Alluvial Wells <br />Some minor discrepancies between the text and tables were noted but it is unrelated <br />to the 2000 AHR submittal. It can be cleaned up at the next opportunity. In nearly all <br />cases, no significant misses occurred for sampling of bedrock and alluvial wells. One <br />exception is water level for well 97012TM. The notation lists a hydrant malfunction <br />preventing the well from holding pressure. This was noted on each of four sampling <br />events. The question would be why this was not this repaired at some time during <br />the water year. I can ask this question later. <br />Surface water sites <br />Text on page 14.2 of Exhibit 14 (approved 2/8/2000, TR99-32) clearly indicates <br />sampling 12 times for flow and field parameters and four full suite samples. It even <br />breaks out that the field parameter sampling will be done in a particular month and <br />that the full suite quality samples will be collected in March, June ,August, and <br />September. Checking the text against the Table A presented on page 14-8 shows <br />no inconsistencies in the table or footnote(1). <br />Generally, actual 2000 sampling consisted of eight field samples and two full suite <br />samples for sites 800, 8, 900, 14, 1002, 27A, 1003, 1005, 301, 69, MC-1, 700. Extra <br />field readings were recorded at some of the sites affected by the weekly/ monthly <br />plan associated with mine water discharge. (I have not reviewed that information in <br />detail for compliance). Sites 301, 69, and 1005 full suite samples were taken in June <br />and July. {as a note; two samples taken this close together, while meeting the <br />quarterly requirement, are not as meaningful as samples taken 3 months apart <br />(quarterly).} Text on page 14.3 states samples at 302, 301, 69, and 1005 will be <br />STATE OF COLORADO <br />• Page 1 <br />
