C.R. 21 <br />Loveland, Colorado 80531 <br />RE: Unpermitted Stone Quarries - Sec. 27 & Sec. 22, T6N, R70W <br />Dear Mr. & Mrs Sprague: <br />It has come to our attention that you are contlucting an unpermit~ed mining <br />operation at the above-described location. <br />All mining operators are required to obtain mining and reclamati n permits for <br />their mining operations in Colorado by the Colorado ~4ined Land R clamation <br />Act, C.R.S. 34-32-101 et seq., and specifically, 34-32-109(7), a amended. <br />The Mined Land Reclamation Division has placed you and your oper tion on the <br />Mined Land Reclamation Board meeting agenda for consideration of possible <br />violation of the above mentioned statute. This meeting is sched led for <br />December 18-19, 1985, in Room 110 of 1313 Sherman St., Denver, C lorado, <br />commencing at 9:00 a.m. each day. Your matter will be heard as oon after <br />commencement as possible. Please call this office on December 1 1985 <br />for a more specific day and time. <br />At the meeting the Board may issue a Cease and Desist Order for our operation <br />at the above cited location per Article 32 of Title 34, Section 23 (1) and <br />(2) which states: <br />"Whenever an operator or prospector fails to obtain a vali permit or <br />file a notice of intent under the provisions of this artic e, the board <br />may issue an immediate cease and desist order.
