Exhibit "E"
3.1.12 Signs and Markers
(1) The operator will post a sign which will be cleazly visible from the access road with the
following information addressed:
(a) The name of the operator;
(b) a statement that a reclamation permit for the operation has been issued by the
Colorado Mined Land Reclamation Board; and
(c) the permit number.
(2) The boundaries of the affected azea will be marked with monuments, that are clearly visible:
(a) This is a 112 operation, the permit boundary and the affected boundary aze the same,
and the operator/applicant is proposing a floating bond to cover a portion of the site, to allow
mining and reclamation to be ongoing.
(3) The affected land will be monumented for easy delination.
~~
(d) Where applicable, the operator/applicant has plans developed for the segregation,
preservation, replacement, compaction and grading of soil used for revegation.
The revegation plan will contain a list of the preferred species of grasses to be
planted as recommended by the field office of the NRCS. All seed recommended
should be available and in sufficient quantity to accomplish the revegation.
Seedbed prepazation has been covered in Section 3.1.10 of this application.
(e} The schedule of reclamation will closely follow the mining phasing and the operator
would expect to start reclamation as soon as feasible after mining has been completed,
in a 4 acre mining azea, and the operator would expect to have vegetation ready for .
release within a 3 - 5 year period. This sequencing will allow for the floating bond of
15 acres if required by MLRB.
The final grading also will be done in conjunction with mining. All backsloping,
daylighting and contouring will be done as mining progresses.
As stated before, this land will be used for grazing cattle as a final land use, and all of
the NRCS recommendations will be done.
Topsoil will be replaced at between 6 and 9 inches on all disturbed azeas if required by
MLRB.
