!~ ~ ~
~~1
~~~ ~
1~
' 1 reaction of shock. I didn't suspect that anything like that
2 could have occurred.
~' 3 Two or three weeks prior to that June 6 wa14:, we--
4 several of us--maybe two dozen citizens of Colorado SF~rings were
5 given a tour of the quarry with representatives from Castle
6 Concrete including Mr. Morgan and Mr. Heifner and Mr. Briggs.
7 We had a complete tour of the area. At one point--at
' 8 one juncture, we were at the westerly permit boundary right where
9 the 1930 rock slide goes into Williams Canyon. I mean we have an allegation that
19 there's a violation of the red--now this stuff you are saying, I
' 20 think is quite relevant to the permit issue. And we are going to
21 hear that later tonight, but I simply want to--you to know that
' 22 we are going to give you the time, but we really need--the
' 23 question is, did they violate the law or not? And that is very
24 narrow.
25 MR. COBERT: The question in my mind is; did they know?
