i~
1
•
C,
22

~~
1

1
1 Mr. Briggs did answer that letter. And that was a Ju:Ly 13
2 letter. Summarizing that letter, he stated that the matter was
3 under study.
4 I wrote Mr. Briggs back and I said that wasn't a good
5 enough answer. I will pursue the matter with the Mined Land
6 Reclamation Board. Corresponding with these letters, unknown to
7 me at the time, Obeying and Wurth, in November the Camille Farrel
8 was working on the problem.
9 In the spring, I saw a notice for another amendment.
10 And I had been here over a year ago on Amendment 2 and had
11 expressed to Camille the concern about the very items 'we are
12 talking about along the access road.
13 On April 10, I wrote a letter to Mr. Humphreys stating
14 that I didn't--summarizing it--stating I didn't unders~=and how an
15 amendment could be considered in light of what I perce:Lved to be
16 a significant problem. At that time, I had no understanding of
17 the law, no understanding that this process would dela}~ the
18 amendment, but form a common sense layman's point of view, did
19 not make sense to keep developing what appeared to be F~roblems.
20 I received no response to the April 10 letter. I wrote
21 an April 27 letter to Mr. Hernandez restating the same concerns.
22 And July 6, we had Mr. Hernandez report and were aware of the
23 July 17 correspondence there.
24 What I would like to do at this time is show some
25 slides that haven't been seen. Could I ask for some assistance
