MANAGEMENT
CV-2002-19 abatement step 1 a requires, among other items, the elimination of a
temporary road segment located at the roadside borrow area. The Operator indicated the
light use road segment will be removed after seeding is accomplished in the technical
revision cover letter that addressed the notice of violation. Abatement item 2 requires
implementation and completion of plans specified in the technical revision within 20 days
of final approval of the technical revision which is November 14, 2002.
Since seeding is scheduled to occur as soon as weather permits, and the road segment
is to be used by the seeding contractor, please amend the referenced notice of violation
so elimination of the road segment is not required. The Operator will eliminate the road
segment after use by the seeding contractor. Alternatively, the abatement deadline for the
notice of violation could be extended. Please let me know if either. of these-options is
feasible.
Sincerely,
J. E. Stover, P.E,
Consulting Engineer
C,c '..~enVz ~: -
- _. ...~.
i, ~„
