The brace pit amendment and all other nrmit <br />applications were approved with the eaception of the ^ai, 'iamiltnn, ..n~.l <br />Butler pits. The Eoard decided to continue rulin^ on thosr~ three operations <br />until the July Board meatin in order to alloc~ the staff ti*~.P to r_nmpare <br />the performance standards of the 1973 Act e8ghe the cenditien of Those pits. <br />In addition, the Soard requested the staff to send a copy of the Grace pit <br />permit application to the Corps of Engi~aers for their information. This <br />is currently being attended to by the staff. <br />The Board also made a stipulation on both the Dolores River pit and the <br />Caldwell pit, that Nieleon's obtain the proper water rights and decreed <br />use prior to uaiag water in either of the operations. The Board chose <br />to take no position on the water augmentation issue. <br />
