(Golder) is pleased to submit this summary of Phase IVb and c Construction Quality Assurance (CQA) services performed for the Cresson Project during the period of September 28 through October 17, 2003. The weather during this reporting period was clear to cloudy. Approximate daytime low temperatures ranged from 29° F to 45° F, and highs ranged from 46° F to 78° F. Precipitation in the form of rain or snow was reported on five days of this reporting period. Weather observations were made on eighteen days of this twenty-day reporting period. Constnuction S n~opsis Ames Construction Inc. (Ames) of Aurora, Colorado is the earthworks contractor for the Phase Nb construction. Ames conducted Phase IVh construction activities on nineteen days of this twenty-day reporting period (September 29 through October 17). Poly-Flex conducted Phase Nb constmction activities on sixteen days ofthis twenty-day reporting period (September 29 through October 14). Phase IVb Ames continued excavation of the Phase IVb OSA geomembrane anchor trench at the Phase N b/c tie- in azea, and along the west end berm, excavating approximately 50 lineaz feet of anchor trench in preparation for geomembrane placement and anchor trench backfill. Ames completed backfill and compaction of Phase IVb OSA geomembrane anchor trench at the Phase IV b/c tie-in area, backfilling approximately 14501ineaz feet of anchor trench. Ames re-excavated and re-established the temporary surface water diversion channel between the Phase IVb and Phase IVctie-in azea.
