Over subsequent months, various actions were taken
with regard to that Order, culminating in the letter of May
25, 1979, to Mr. Bruce Collins of Snowmass Coal, concerning
that Cease and Desist Order and indicating that the Order
would remain in effect pending submission of an amendment to
the Permit and other activities. I am interested in finding
out the status of the Cease and Desist Order as I believe
that Snowmass Coal has complied with its terms and condi-
tions and paid the necessary penalty, and I would like to
have the matter put to rest.
Could you please inform me of the Board's position on
the status of that Cease and Desist Order at your conven-
ience? Thank you for your
assistance.
i ~.
~ Very tr y ~ou,rs
o b n
DWR:nIh
cc: Thomas Boettger
Jim Greenlee
