Cattany <br />Division Diretlor <br />Natural Resource Trustee <br />The Division has completed the review of your Board Ordered <br />Amendment application for the Slurry Wall that was put in <br />place by Lafarge on your behalf. It is the understanding of <br />the Division from the field inspection and what was <br />submitted in the application that the slurry wall design <br />Construction and QA/QC, was approved by the State <br />Engineer's Office. Final approval is still pending, once <br />the final approval is submitted to the Division, DMG will <br />adjust the warranty in accordance with the in house policy <br />for Slurry walls. Until such approval is provided to the <br />Division, the full warranty for the construction of the <br />slurry wall will be required at this time. The full <br />warranty for the slurry wall construction is $264,000.00, <br />which includes the 10~ in-direct coat. <br />It is also the understanding of the Division that the <br />operator has provided the State Engineer as it is required <br />under their rule to provide a list of all known ground <br />water wells with in 600 feet of the slurry wall for <br />possible impacts and that they have rendered a favorable <br />decision regarding the placement of the slurry wall.
