Therefore, the following explanation is being provided to clarify <br />the differences between the MDLs listed in Tables 2 and 3 and the MDLs anticipated in the <br />laboratory analytical results. <br />The MDLs in Tables 2 and 3 (WQ 1 and WQ2, respectively) were generated during an MDL <br />study designed to indicate the sensitivity of the laboratory equipment while using a preferred <br />EPA laboratory testing method. The MDLs in these tables represent detection limits that <br />may be achieved ruing a known concentration of a single analyte in a clean matrix. <br />Therefore, the detection limits provided in the tables are essentially instrument detection <br />I imiu under ideal conditions and are not representative of the detection limits that would be <br />
