Responsibilities ncluded <br />preparing and presenting lectures and faci itating <br />discussions on Conservation Biology principles, de eloping <br />appropriate testing and evaluation procedures, and reating <br />and applying field research methodologies. Led g ups in <br />field research activities designed to inventory and valuate <br />biotic community conditions and population dynam cs and <br />habitat suitability for Threatened and Endangered pecies, <br />including the southwestern Grizzly Bear. Also coo dinated <br />all logistical support for the project. Presently a sisting <br />in the design and development of additional rojects <br />involving Conservation Strategies for the Mexican olf in <br />Arizona and Mexico, Mountain Lion in Utah, and C kscomb <br />Jaguar Preserve in Belize. <br />Forest Management Consultant <br />(July 1992 - Present) <br />Watershed ecosystems <br />Sa to Fe, NM <br />Assisted with development of forest/natural r source <br />management plan for large private landholding in Co orado. <br />Conducted field inventory and evaluation of biotic <br />communities. Sampled age structure and condition of forest <br />resource, and made recommendations for natural forest <br />management, sustainable silvicultural options, and fo st and <br />wetland restoration activities. <br />
