Your letter and
photographs indicate that the only work remaining to implement the approved drainage control
plan is installation of rip rap on the drop structure that routes drainage from the conveyor line
to the Goat Trail. The notice of violation was written for erosion caused by runoff from the
Goat Trail. Work completed to date has abated that problem, and so we have terminated the
violation rather than extending the abatement time. P&M should, however, complete
construction of the drop structure as soon as weather permits.
I have enclosed a copy of the termination notice for NOV C-93-024. Should you have any
questions or need additional information, please contact me.
Sincerely,
1~(-~1
Susan L Burgmai r
Environmental Protection Specialist
Enclosure
SLB\112993.WP
