Long, <br />Division Director <br />I have reviewed the draft documents you hand delivered yesterdlay. In my <br />opinion the documents are acceptable to the Division. I appreciate your <br />efforts in accomplishing their development so expeditiously. I believe they <br />provide sufficient flexibility to protect the Divisions', the Parti!es', Battle <br />Mountain Resources', and the Contractor's interests. <br />Please forward the appropriate number of originals of the Memorandum of <br />Understanding. Idill obtain Mike Long's signature, as representative of the <br />Divislon. I would encourage you to contac- Dr. Maest and in*orm her of her <br />selection as the "third Party sampling" contractor as soon as possible. <br />I anticipate that RCG/Hagler, Bailly, Inc. will require several days to <br />examine, approve and execute the Contract documents. Please keep mq informed <br />or any exchange you have with Dr. Maest. As soon as you confirm her verpal <br />acceptance of the Contract, we will contact her to schedule the first round of <br />sampling. <br />I will be absent from the office for the entirety of next week.
