"in-ditch"
sump on the road ditch above the pond. When I stopped by the mine yesterday afternoon
around 4pm, the "in-ditch" sump excavation had just been completed. Water level in the
pond had been pumped down several feet below the principal spillway inlet, but a shallow
pool remained in the pond. As we discussed, Abatement Item 1 is being extended to 5pm.
11/29/04, to allow additional time to complete pond de-watering.
Please contact me if you have any questions.
Sincere ~ ...
Daniel T.
