Golder Associates Inc. (Golder) has prepazed this letter for the Cripple Creek & Victor Gold
Mining Company (CC&V) presenting the specification for the Select Drain Cover Fill (SDCF)
material to be placed azound the vertical risers and primary solution collection pipes in the
Phase IV Pregnant Solution Storage Area (PSSA). .
~` The specification for the SDCF is based only on gradation and shall consist of free draining
gravel conforming to the following gradation:
