In late 1997, ajoint venture was formed between Mining and Minerals, Ltd. II, the <br /> current permit holder, and Mesquite Mining, a subsidiary of H. B. Zachry. The name of this <br /> joint venture is Elkhead Joint Venture. Elkhead Joint Venture will be the operator of any mining <br /> and milling activities at the Joker Mine.
