~ti' <br />PUBLIC NOTICE <br />The Colorado Mined Land Reclamation Division (Division) issued on May 3, 1985, <br />an Order to Show Cause Why a Permit Should Not be Suspended or Revoked to <br />American Fuels, Inc., P.O. Box 511, Aguilar, Colorado 81020. This Order was <br />issued in accordance with Section 34-33-123(7) of the Colorado Surface Coal <br />Mining Reclamation Act. It was issued as a result of the Division making a <br />determination that a Pattern of Violations exists at the New Pryor Strip mine, <br />operated by American Fuels, Inc. and that the violations were caused by an <br />unwarranted failure of the permittee, American Fuels, Inc., to comply with the <br />requirements of the Act. The mine is located in Huerfano County, Section 19, <br />T29S, R65W of the 6th P.M. <br />The Division has scheduled a formal hearing concerning this Order before the <br />Mined Land Reclamation Board on July 25, 1985, to be held at 1313 Sherman St., <br />Room 110, Denver, Colorado. <br />Any interested person who wishes to intervene in the proceedings of this Order <br />may do so by notifying the Mined Land Reclamation Division at 1313 Sherman <br />St., Room 423, Denver, Colorado 80203.
