Harold W. Miller
~ office aox tan
eWia~, ca~~ ao3os
February 11, 2005
Mr. R. T. Heard, P.Eng.
Mount Royale Ventures, LLC
Post Office Box 14754
Boulder, Colorado 80308
Dear Mr. Heard:
In response to your request, I have prepared the attached summary report on my analysis
of the potential for production of acid mine waters from the vein material and wall rocks
in the Cash Mine area of Boulder County, Colorado. I have included with the report a list
of references as well as a brief curriculum vita.
In conducting this analysis, I have researched applicable published information,
examined over 100 polished sections of vein material from the Cash Mine, and have
conducted thin-section or petrographic analyses on over 50 specimens of both fresh and
altered granite-granodiorite wall rock from the vicinity. In general, it can be stated that
neither the Cash nor the Freiburg veins contain substantial quantities of metallic sulfides,
and T have not detected the presence of widespread disseminated sulfides in the wall rock.
Accordingly, my evaluation concludes that the potential of either the vein material or
wall rock material from the Cash Mine to produce acid mine waters is m;nimal.
I trust that this report provides you with the required information. If you have any
questions or need additional detail or clarification on any aspect of the report, please fee!
free to contact me directly.
Sincerely,

Harold W. Miller
attachments
