Affidavit of Mark A. Steen <br />Concerning Right to Enter Mining Claims <br />State of Colorado ) <br />ss. <br />County of Boulder ) <br />MARK A. STEEN, being first duly sworn, states as follows: <br />This affidavit concerns fhe legal right of Mount Royale Ventures, LLC, a Colorado <br />limited liability company, to enter into and mine upon various patented and <br />unpatented lode mining claims situated in Boulder County, Colorado. This <br />statement is submitted in compliance with Rule 6 adopted under the authority of <br />the Colorado Mined Land ReGamation Act, C.R.S. 3432-108. <br />2. I am a principal in Mi Yda Enterprises, a Utah corporation, Gold Hill Mines, Inc., <br />a Colorado corporation, Gold Reef Mining Company, a Colorado corporation, and <br />Southern Cross Prospecting Company, a Colorado corporation. I have personal <br />knowledge of the rights acquired by said companies in the patented and <br />unpatented mining claims and mill sites owned by said companies from time to <br />time and located within the Gold Hill Mining District of Boulder County, Colorado <br />(the "Properties'). In particular, I have personal knowledge of the terms and <br />conditions of each document of record in regard to such Properties inGuding, but <br />not limited to, various agreements, notices, easements, warranty deeds, quit <br />Gaim deeds, covenarrts, consents, and conservation easements. This <br />knowledge is based, in part, upon my review and execution of several of said <br />documents. <br />3. I hereby attest, certify and confirm that Mount Royale Ventures, LLC, a Colorado <br />limited liability company has acquired from said companies the legal right to enter <br />and to operate and mine upon and within such Properties inGuding without <br />limitation the Gaims and mill sites located within the said Gold Hill Mining District <br />which are or were owned or controlled by the said companies. <br />4. I am unaware of any limitations in the deeds or other documents transferrring title <br />which would limit the right of entry to such Properties for the purpose of <br />prospecting, exploration, development, or mining, and the extraction of precious <br />metals and ores from such Properties for processing at the Gold Hill Mill, other <br />than as specifically set forth in the Conservation Easements, the Prospecting and <br />Mining Covenants, and the Trail Easements granted to Boulder County. <br />DATED this I l'~ day of May, 2005. <br />TVtoal~. ,~ ,dt~. <br />Mark A.
