Sadler: <br />Fer our phone conversation, I have enclosed a copy of that portion of the <br />minutes of September 25, 19£l0 relating to Orln R. Splllers. <br />Let me explain a chain of circumstances which unfortunately took place on <br />September 13, 19230: <br />ke received correspondeuce from Orin Spiller's office on the iSth <br />indicating that they had conformed wltli the Cease and Desist Drder, <br />and that they had placed a copy of the application material wit'n <br />the Lo Plata County Clerk and Recorder for public review. They <br />also enclosed thu letter from r1r. Ernst, the Registered Engineer. <br />In talking with you on the phone that same day, I Informed you of <br />those circumstances and also reap Mr, Ernst's letter to you. You <br />requested information about obtaining a copy of the August minutes, <br />transcripts if possible. Shortly after talking to you and before <br />I had an opportunity to write the letter to you, my right arm <br />became paralized and 1 went to the hospital where 1 was retained <br />for several days with either a pinched nerve or a very mIIJ stroke. <br />I realize this Is of little comfort to you, but I have to he <br />honest and present the facts. <br />As soon as I can see Dave Shelton when he returns from the legislative <br />meeting he Is required to attend, I will inquire what took place at the <br />September Board meeting relating to this operation. <br />The administrator here has informed me that the tapes of the meetings are <br />available In our office for anyone to come In and transcribe, but our office <br />dots not have enouoh personnel to do the transcrlbing. <br />I am sorry for the events of September lfith, but ! wil{ talk to Dave as <br />previously Indicated. <br />Sincerely, <br />Robert C.
