The letter from the operator was previously submitted. All of the land included in this amended
request has never been affected by mining. In the original request all permitted land in Sections 11 and 14
were included in the release with 480 acres which would include more than 480 acres. After checking with
the Land Board, it was determined that the 480 acres is correct, but the legal description was in error. A
narrow slice along the east sides of Sections 11 and 14 should remain in the permit. This amended release
request corrects that problem. This change in the release request also retains all previously affected but
released land in the permit boundary.
If you have any questions, please call. As you have already inspected this site, it is assumed you will not
need to inspect this land again.
Sincerely,

Mark A.
cc. Scott Davis
Don Opheim
