Your request asked the deadline be changed from 5:00 p.m. December 9, 1994 (as modified in our Modification Notice issued November 23, 1994) to 5:00 p.m. December 14, 1994. In accordance with Section 5.03.2(2)(b) of the Board's regulations, your request is hereby granted. The good cause for granting the request is as follows: 1. A written request for the extension was received within the modified abatement time period. 2. Written confirmation of Minor Revision MR-71, addressing the designation of an approved disposal area for the drilling materials, was not received by Basin Resources from the Division until December 7, 1994, due to problems with the Division's computer/word processing systems. 3. Removal of the drilling agents from Pond 004 commenced immediately following notification of MR-71's approval. 4. Adverse weather (snow and sub-zero temperatures) that began on December 8, 1994 has hindered Basin's efforts to remove all of the material from Pond 004. 5. The extension of the NOV abatement deadline is necessary to ensure that all drilling materials are removed from Pond 004. A Modification Notice is included.
