I had been informed by Cathy Begay on the Inspection
Report dated May 27, 1993 that the signs had been vandalized.
I ordered new signs and had planned to install them the first
week of July during my quarterly inspection. This is an
ongoing problem at this site, and I have replaced these signs
just about every other year (sometimes twice in the same
year) since I've been responsible for the mine.
Mr. Jerry Koblitz and myself also installed permit boundary
markers where indicated. We did this on the new permit
boundary rather than the old one. This was done in
anticipation of your approval of our Permit Revision No. 1
dated April 21, 1993, I apologize for this oversight on
my part and assure you it will not happen again.
If you have any questions, please don't hesitate to contact
me at the above telephone number.
Sincerely,
~/
Michael Keegan
Manager, Colorado Properties
MTK/jj
cc: G.
