Such determination may be based upam aa~ptable accelerated weathering and <br />leaching tests of a representative sample of the overbwdar, waste rode, miff tarlmgs, or <br />other mimed, Placed, disposed, or stockpiled mabeaial. In determining why a potential <br />for acid mine dtaina~ generation exists, the Officewillconsider Oahaalpre-mining acidity <br />and metals occurence in bedrock, soil, gtotnndwater and surface water where such <br />information is available to the lice.
