Box 897 <br />Alamosa, Colorado 81101 <br />Re: Nichols Pit - File <br />Bucky Clanch Pit - <br />Oear Mr. Malouff: <br />No. 79-167 and <br />File No. 82-33 <br />Please find attached the findings and order of the Mined Land Reclamation <br />Board concerning the hearing of February 27, 1985. <br />As we discussed in our telephone conversation of February 26, 1985, I suggest <br />you do the following: <br />1. Pay the $250.00 annual fees for the Nichols Pit by March 27, 1985; <br />2. Write me a Tatter stating that you'd like to have the permit <br />application for the Bucky Clanch Pit, File No. 82-33 reinstated for <br />Board consideration at the March Board meeting; and <br />3. Come to the March 27-28, 1985 Board meeting prepared to post a <br />$1,000.00 financial warranty for the Bucky Clanch Pit. <br />If you do these things, I believe you will be in a better position to ask the <br />Board to reconsider civil penalties associated with the Bucky Clanch Pit and <br />the Nichols Pit.
