RE: Gravel Pit No. 23, Permit No. M-85-100, Annual Fee and Report, Notice of Reason to
Believe a Violation Exists
Dear County Commissioners:
C.R.S. 34-32.5-116(3)(a) and (b), 1989 Supp. and Permit No. M-85-100 require you to submit to the
Division of Minerals and Geology $225.00 in annual fees and an annual report on or before July 25
of each year. As of the date of this letter the Division has not received your annual fee and report
for July 25, 1995. Therefore, you are in potential violation of the above cited statute and the
provisions of Permit No. M-85-100.
If you fail to submit your annual fee and report to our office by June 24, 1996, this matter will be
heard at a Formal Public Hearing before the Mined Land Reclamation Board for consideration of
possible permit revocation and assessment of civil penalties at the June 26 and 27, 1996 Board
Meeting. If you submit the past due annual fee and report by June 24, 1996, we will withdraw this
matter from further consideration.
IN ORDER TO AVOID PERMIT REVOCATION, AND POTENTIAL CIVIL PENALTIES, PLEASE
SUBMIT $225.00 FOR THE ANNUAL FEE AND YOUR ANNUAL REPORT BY JUNE 24, 1996.
The Board Meeting will be held on June 26 and 27, 1996, in Room 318 of 1313 Sherman Street,
Denver, Colorado, beginning at 9:00 a.m. or as soon thereafter as the matter can be considered, and
you will have the opportunity to be represented and heard.
