Each time, we make a set of measurements
from the same exact survey control points to the same
exact points on the pipeline. Throughout the
monitoring process, we have found the pipeline to be
in substantially the same position, exhibiting no
movement.
We are using a Topton Total Station Land
Surveying instrument, shooting to a reflector prism
mounted on a range pole. Our measurements are shown
in the attached chart. This chart shows the variation
in horizontal position (by coordinate) and in
vertical position (by elevation). The variations run
from 0.00 feet to 0.08 feet (about 1 inch), which ie
the expected variation in accuracy due to the
equipment and procedures being used.
Sincerely,
BAY
