Based on this lease Couls n Excavating
has up to 100 acre-feet of totally consumable water on an annual basis. T is water may
be used for augmentation of gravel pits owned by Coulson Excavating.
As I understand from our recent conversations, Coulson Excavating woul like to use a
portion of this water for augmentation of their Challenger Pit Gravel Minin Operation. I
also understand that this gravel pit is within the Big Thompson River Dr 'nage Basin.
Since this pit lies within the Big Thompson River Basin, Coulson Excavati g can use the
water available under the terms of the long term water lease with the City of Loveland.
The amount of water needed by year is as follows:
1998 October 4.8 AF
November 2.8 AF
December 1.7 AF
Total = 9.3 AF
1999 And 2000 January 1.4 AF
February 1.5 AF
March 2.0 AF
April 3.1 AF
May 0.1 AF
June 0.0 AF
July 0.0 AF
August 3.9 AF
September 7.0 AF
October 4.8 AT
1398
 Printed on
WReWded Paper
