Cattany <br />5529 US HWy. 64 Division Director <br />Farmington, NM $7401 Natural Resource Trustee <br />Re: Receipt of 110(2) to 112 Hard Rock/Metal Mining Reclamation Permit Conversion Application, Incas <br />Mine, Permit No. M-1986-076, AM-3 <br />Dear Mr. Bender: <br />On August 22, 2003, the Division of Minerals and Geology received your 110(2) to 112 Hazd Rock/Metal Mining <br />Reclamation Permit Amendment application for the Incas Mine, which is located in La Plata County. All comment and <br />review periods began on August 22, 2003. The decision date for your applicaton is scheduled for September 22, 2003. <br />Within ten (10) days after submittal, you must publish notice in a newspaper of general circulation in the locality of the <br />proposed mining operation once a week for four (4) consecutive weeks. Immediately after the first publication, mail a <br />copy of the notice to all owners of record of surface rights, holders of any recorded easements, and all owners of record <br />of lands that aze within 200 feet of the boundary of the affected land. Proof of notice and mailings, such as Certified <br />Mail - Retlun Receipt Requested, must be submitted to the Division of Minerals and Geology prior to the decision date. <br />Additionally, any changes or additions to the application on file in our office must also be reflected in the public review <br />copy which has been placed with the La Plata County Clerk and Recorder. <br />The Division is reviewing your application to detemilne whether it is adequate to meet the requirements of the Act.
