This plant will only be on site temporarily to <br />satisfy local road jobs. It is not expected that this plant will be on site for more than S-6 weeks per <br />year and many years will not see the plant at all. <br />- portable concrete plant with 10,000 gallon AST diesel tank. This tank will be placed in a <br />compacted earth berm azea with impermeable plastic lining with enough volume to trap the fuel <br />from a full tank with 10% safety factor. <br />- 15 hp diesel powered water pump with 8" aluminum water line running from Pond A to the gravel <br />plant area. <br />The site will use all existing roads to haul the product to its final destination for the final mining <br />described in this amendment. The main road that enters the permit area from the north and extends <br />to Sediment Pond 1 was planned as a haul road for the coal permit and per landowner wishes, will <br />remain after reclamation for the post-mining land use. <br />3. Water Information. Rights and Augmentation <br />Details of the water use on site are presented in Exhibit G -Water Information. <br />Although the mine will encounter water in the mining operation, no additional water surfaces will <br />be created that have not been on site for decades, therefore, no well permit application with the <br />State Engineer's office will be filed. It is planned that some ponds will be left for the post-mining <br />land use. Water for processing, dust control and materials handling will come from two sources that <br />the Ducommun Trust has on the site: <br />Alma Placer 7/03 32 <br />
