These ponds, called Farley Ponds #1 through #4, overflow into each other and <br />eventually the overflow reaches Pond A. All of the 4 ponds will be cleaned of sediment on an as <br />needed basis and the sediment will be either stockpiled or drrectly applied to regraded areas for <br />reclamation. The stockpile locations are shown on Map C-2. <br />Other water information such as water rights, consumptive use, etc. is given in Exhibit G -Water <br />Infonnation. <br />1.3 Access Roads <br />Five existing accesses aze present on the site, all of which were present in 1975. These are accesses <br />1, 2, 3, 6 and 7 as shown on Map C-2. Accesses 1, 2 and 3 enter Highway 9 south of the town of <br />Alma. Access 6 leaves the permit azea in the northwest comer and eventually joins with Highway 9 <br />north of Alma. Accesses 1 and 6 have been active up to 2003 and used by both the gold mining and <br />the gavel mining operations. As gold mining progresses to the south, Access 1 will be dismpted to <br />the main part of the site and Access 4 will be installed. As mining continues south, Accesses 2 , 3 <br />and 5 may be used. Access 5 enters the existing private road at the south end of the permit area <br />Alma Placer 7/03 16 <br />
