Listed below are adequacy review comments for the Snowstorm Placer 112(c) Technical Revision (TR-03), File No.
M-1983-084. The Division of Reclamation, Mining and Safety (Division) is required to make a decision by no later
than March 15, 2007. Therefore, your response to the following adequacy review concems should be submitted to the
Division as soon as possible.
1. Rule 6.2.1(2) requires that maps be prepared and signed by a registered land surveyor, professional engineer, or
other qualified person. The maps submitted to the Division were not signed. Please submit the proper, signed
maps to the Division,
Rule 6.4.13 Exhibit M- Other Permits and Licenses
2. This rule, related to new applications, requires the Applicant to identify which permits, licenses, and approvals the
Operator/Applicant holds or will be seeking in order to conduct the proposed mining and reclamation operations.
In that the activities proposed in this revision to the existing permit will affect the content of the material currently
on file for this exhibit, the Applicant must submit a list of the above items that the proposed activity will require.
Also be aware that the licenses mentioned in the application materials for the revision, related to the emissions
permits for the cement and asphalt plants, appear to be expired. Please acknowledge that new licenses will be
required.
Please be advised that the Snowstorm Sand & Gravel, LLC, 112(c) Technical Revision Application may be deemed
inadequate, and the application may be denied on March 15, 2007 unless the above mentioned adequacy review items
are addressed to the satisfaction of the Division. Responses to these adequacy concerns must be received by the
Division to allow adequate tune for review prior to the decision date. If you feel more time is needed to complete your
reply, the Division can grant an extension to the decision date. This will be done upon receipt of a written waiver of
your right to a decision by March I5, 2007 and request for additional time. This request must be received no later than
March 15, 2007. Please be aware that depending on the answers that are received regarding the above adequacy issues,
the Division may have further adequacy questions.
