Cattany <br />Division Director <br />Natural Resource Trustee <br />Listed below are adequacy review comments for the Snowstorm Placer 112(c) Technical Revision (TR-03), File No. <br />M-1983-084. The Division of Reclamation, Mining and Safety (Division) is required to make a decision by no later <br />than March 15, 2007. Therefore, your response to the following adequacy review concems should be submitted to the <br />Division as soon as possible. <br />1. Rule 6.2.1(2) requires that maps be prepared and signed by a registered land surveyor, professional engineer, or <br />other qualified person. The maps submitted to the Division were not signed. Please submit the proper, signed <br />maps to the Division, <br />Rule 6.4.13 Exhibit M- Other Permits and Licenses <br />2. This rule, related to new applications, requires the Applicant to identify which permits, licenses, and approvals the <br />Operator/Applicant holds or will be seeking in order to conduct the proposed mining and reclamation operations. <br />In that the activities proposed in this revision to the existing permit will affect the content of the material currently <br />on file for this exhibit, the Applicant must submit a list of the above items that the proposed activity will require. <br />Also be aware that the licenses mentioned in the application materials for the revision, related to the emissions <br />permits for the cement and asphalt plants, appear to be expired. Please acknowledge that new licenses will be <br />required. <br />Please be advised that the Snowstorm Sand & Gravel, LLC, 112(c) Technical Revision Application may be deemed <br />inadequate, and the application may be denied on March 15, 2007 unless the above mentioned adequacy review items <br />are addressed to the satisfaction of the Division. Responses to these adequacy concerns must be received by the <br />Division to allow adequate tune for review prior to the decision date. If you feel more time is needed to complete your <br />reply, the Division can grant an extension to the decision date. This will be done upon receipt of a written waiver of <br />your right to a decision by March I5, 2007 and request for additional time. This request must be received no later than <br />March 15, 2007.
