<br />Status of Problem Resolution <br />The following items concern problems identified at previous inspections. <br />Problems are classified into two categories. These are: (1) problems <br />resolved; and (2) operator delinquent. The date that the problem is resolved <br />or the date that the operator is deemed delinquent is to be clearly stated. <br />NOV C-85-033 was written on April 17, 1985. <br />Abatements for this NOV were as follows: <br />Salvage topsoil underneath the overcast material and salvage all <br />uncontaminated topsoil lying under the refuse material. Create a buffer zone <br />to ensure protection of unremoved topsoil. Step 2) Submit a plan whereby a <br />buffer zone can be maintained between the active refuse disposal area and the <br />undisturbed topsoil area and whereby removal of topsoil is assured on steep <br />slopes. Both Steps 1 and 2 must be fulfilled by May 20, 1985). this <br />abatement date has been extended to June 19, 1985. <br />NOV C-85-034 was also written of April 17, 1985. Abatements for this NOV were <br />as follows: <br />Remove the refuse that extends beyond the present point of underdrain <br />construction, assure that the existing underdrain is clear of refuse material <br />prior to extending the underdrain past the active refuse disposal area. This <br />step must be completed by M~ayy 2-0~, 1--985~. Step 2) Maintain at all times at <br />least 50 feet advancement oo urn beyond the active disposal area. The <br />May 20, 1985 abatement date has been extended to June 19, 1985. <br />NOV C-85-042 was written during this (May 24, 1985) inspection. <br />Abatements for this NOV were to remove the refrigerator and tires from the <br />area or to submit adequate information to show that the disposal area meets <br />the requirements of Rule 4.11.4 (1) and (2 ); and submit a revision for this <br />area as an approved noncoal waste disposed area. The abatement date is <br />June 28, 1985. <br />
