Upon
closer Inspection the slide (approximately 2.5 acres In size) was lound to be in 1993 reclamation of the Ashmore
Scraper Plt Area. On the uphill skis o1 the slide, the ground Bluffed tlown leaving an open face running eastwest
in an arc approximately 400 foot long and approximately 10 foot In height (at worst case) gratlually sloping from
the center to natural ground. At the foot of the open face the ground shifted downhill (to the north) approximately
15 foot wide at worst case. The tlownhlll end of the slide area (north end) shifted creating a berm running east-west
approximately 225 foot long and approximately 10-15 foot high in the center, tapering downward to natural ground.
Prior to the slide Trapper Mlne received 17 days of moisture registering 3.05 Inches precipkation, of
which 1.69 inches came within 4 days prior to the slide.
Trapper plans to repair the site using equipment to salvage the available topsoil, backfill and slope the
face with material stripped from the berm, and retopsoll the area with the salvaged topsoil.
