1. None of the citizens objected to the application. <br />2. The concerns that the citizens have (property devaluation, noise, dust, traffic) aze local <br />issues that do not fall under the jurisdiction of the DMG. <br />3. Deer, antelope and elk aze, generally, not affected by these small mining operations. <br />4. Impacts to local aquifers, by septic sludge deposits, do not come under the jurisdiction of <br />the DMG. Impacts to local aquifers from a mining operation do fall under the DMG's <br />jurisdiction and the applicant will be required to keep the impacts to a minimum.' <br />5. Timely reclamation is required by statute {C.R.S. 34-32.6-] 16(4)(q)(I)) <br />6. The DMG does not select the name of the operation and does not limit or restrict what the <br />applicant wants to call the operation (certain offensive words may not be allowed). <br />The DMG has asked that the three citizens who submitted timely letters of concern submit a <br />letter of objection, if in fact they are objecting to the conversion application.
