No backfilling is planned in the existing pit. <br />The existing and proposed pits will be excavated to a level approximately 2 feet above <br />the expected groundwater elevation. Wet mining will only occur after all necessary <br />augmentation plans, water supply plans, and/or gravel pit well permits have been <br />obtained. Both the Mining and Reclamation maps show the expected top and bottom <br />contours as well as the intermediate "working bench" that will be utilized when wet <br />mining is in progress. It is planned to mine to the proposed backslopes, thus minimizing <br />backfilling operations. <br />Topsoil stockpiles are now depicted on the Mining Plan Map. These stockpiles will be <br />located on the working bench in the amended azea. <br />Exhibit D -Mining_Plan (Rule 6.4.41 <br />As stated above, wet mining will only occur after all necessazy augmentation plans, water <br />supply plans, and/or gravel pit well permits have been obtained. Before wet mining is <br />started, the Operator will apply for a Technical Revision to incorporate the most current <br />
