Garfield County <br />Commissioners approved the Glen's Pit at their August 14, 2006 meeting. <br />I request a Technical Revision for the above referenced pit to use an existing haul road on <br />Permit M-1979-075 property for temporary access to and from the Glen's Pit. The <br />Chambers Pit mentioned above is permitted by United Company and is in the reclamation <br />stage. By using this road we can access the highway from our existing active pit (Permit <br /># M-1979-205) The road is existing and will be left in place when no longer needed. <br />It is a lengthy process to be approved for a railroad crossing. Should we not get the <br />approved railroad crossing constructed by March of 2007 we will submit an amendment <br />to use the Chambers access for a longer period of time.
