Also, by placing the peaked, rough side in the slope, the roughness provides additional anchoring of the pattie so it <br />doesn't slide down the slope. Patties will be placed on slope edge to edge to reduce the amount of exposed backfill to wave <br />action. Additional broken concrete can be placed in spaces between patties to increase erosion resistance, but is probably <br />not necessary. Additional patties can be buried in backfill material, if available. This improves the strength of the fill slope. <br />
