Lone
Divivion DireUOr
Concerning the attached letter requesting a vacation of NOV C-93-008, I believe that there
may be some basis for the requested vacation. It is possible that the missing records were
in an obscure location of the files. The mine's files are disorganized and there are over 10
years of accumulated irrelevant paperwork that the records could have gotten lost in.
Supporting Mr. Lewiki 's request, during the previous complete quarterly inspection in
December, I do remember seeing the certificate of insurance. Also, Greg Lewicki had sent
copies of the quarterly pond inspection reports to the Division office.
I believe that Mr. Lewicki's proposal of changing the location of the public files and
organizing the required records in a 3 ring binder will improve public access and decrease
the likelihood of records getting lost.
