I have reviewed the draft documents you had hand delivered to my
attention this afternoon. In my opinion the document; are acceptable to the
Division, with two minor changes, as follo~,vs.
(1) "AGREEMENT FOR ENVIRONMENTAL SAMPLING SERVICES", page 22.
Change the designated DMG representative to read:

Strike the "n" from "given" in the second line of Section :r, "D'iISPUTES"
I appreciate your efforts in accomplishing the amendment of these
documents so expeditiously. I believe they provide sufficient flexibility to
protect the Divisions', the Parties', Battle Mountain Resources', the
Contractor';, and the State cf Montana's interests.
Please forward the appropriate number of original; of the .Memorandum of
Understanding after completing the requested changes. I will obtain Mike
Long'; signature, as representative of the Division. Please keep HaYry Poser
or me informed of any exchange you have with Dr. Maest. As soon as you
confirm RCG's verbal acceptance of the Contract, we .vill Contact Dr. MaeSt and
8t4RI to Schedule the first round of sampling.
