If you are amending or converting an existing operation, provide a brief narrative describing the proposed change(s).
Mining was accomplished by excavator loading wet gravel from the pit to the bank. Although the original permit states
that draglines will be used to mine the material with assistance from dozers and loaders, this is not practical,
therefore, Western Gravel desires to change the mining method from draglines to dozers and loaders.
Since this equipment will be operating in the pit, pit pumping will be needed.
