BEFORE THE MINED LAND RECLAMATION <br />STATE OF COLORADO <br />.~~-o~ <br />FINDINGS OF FACT, CONCLUSIONS OF LAW ANDIORDER <br />IN THE MATTER OF THE RECONSIDERATION OF AN APPLICATION <br />AMENDMENT APPROVAL FOR A SECTION 112 RECLAMATION PERMIT, PLATTE <br />SAND AND GRAVEL, LLC, FILE NUMBER M-2000-158 / <br />THIS MATTER came before the Mined Land <br />February 16, 2006, in Denver, Colorado for a hearing to <br />reclamation permit amendment approval of Platte Sand <br />The file number in this matter is M-2000-158. Steve <br />Applicant. Erica Crosby appeazed on behalf of the <br />Board ("Boazd") on <br />the section 112 <br />LLC ("Applicant"). <br />appeared on behalf of the <br />of Minerals and Geology <br />("Division"). <br />The Board, having considered the parties' <br />informed of the facts in this matter, hereby enters the <br />and having been otherwise fully <br />findings of fact, conclusions of <br />law and order: <br />1. The Applicant intends to extract sand and gravel from a site neaz Platteville, Colorado. <br />The site of the proposed mining activity is in Section <br />West, 6~' Prime Meridian, Weld County, Colorado. <br />Township 4 North, Range 67 <br />site is approximately 1,239.40 <br />acres. <br />2. The Applicant obtained approval from the Boazd of a <br />112c construction materials <br />permit application, with conditions, on June 27, 2001. <br />3. On August 25, 2004, the Applicant obtained from the <br />amendment {AM-Ol) changing the post-mining land <br />resources and authorized the lining of two pits with a <br />an approval for a permit <br />from wildlife to developed water <br />wall. <br />Platte Sand & Gravel, M-2000-258 <br />
