Using Table 2-2c, USDA-SCS TR-55, the cover type described as 'Brush: brush- <br />weed-grass mixture with brush the major element' was used to simulate Premine <br />conditions. The cover type described as °pasture, grassland or range" was <br />used to simulate postmine (reclaimed) conditions. <br />Herbaceous cover values taken from the Vegetation Monitoring and Bond <br />Release Evaluation prepared by Mr. Kent Crofts for the Grassy Creek Mine were <br />assumed to best represent ground cover conditions.
