Haul Roads <br />No change. <br />4.03.2 Access Roads <br />(1)(a) The portal level access road would be cut approximately <br />four feet for a length of approximately 160 feet near <br />the proposed intake portal and cut approximately five <br />feet for a length of approximately 140 feet near the <br />proposed return portal, allowing room for traffic at <br />the new portals. Refer to the Golder Associates de- <br />signs for further information regarding the modifica- <br />tion of the portal level access road. The proposed <br />modifications were designed to control or prevent ero- <br />sion, siltation, pollution of water or damage to public <br />or private property. <br />(1)(b) - (2)(e) <br />No change. <br /> <br />(3)(a)(i) The overall modified grade of the portal level access <br />road would not exceed 10 percent. Refer to the Golder <br />Associates designs attached. <br />(3)(a)(ii) The pitch grade for any consecutive 1,000 feet of the <br />modified portal level access road shall not exceed 15 <br />percent. <br />(3)(a)(iii) - (3)(d)(xi) <br />No change. <br />(4) Ditches and culverts along the modified portal level <br />access road were designed to pass peak runoff from a <br />10-year, 24-hour precipitation event. Refer to the at- <br />tached Golder associates designs. <br />(4)(a) - (4)(e)(vi) <br />No change. <br />(5)(a) Modified portions of the portal level access road would <br />be gravel surfaced.
