iii iiiiiiiiiiiiiiii <br />se„~- ~ ~ ll <br />~~ r~~s <br />~~ <br />PUBLIC NOTICE ~a.rm- ~'"r'~.5"~'0" q~~ <br />TAI:E NOTICE that Eastside Coal Company, Inc. has applied to the Board of County <br />Comm;ccioners, Ga~eld County, State ofColorado, to grant Special Use Permit approval in <br />connection with the following described property situated in the County of Garfield, State of <br />Colorado, to-wit: <br />Legal Description. See Attached <br />Practical Description: A tract of land located approximately 3 miles north of Silt, off of <br />County Road 237. <br />Said Special Use Permit is for Extraction, Processing, Storage and Material Handling of <br />Natural Resources in the A/R/RD Zone District. Specifically, the Special Use Permit would <br />allow the applicant to extract, process, store and handle up to 20,000 tons of coal a year for sale <br />to the public. <br />All persons affected by the proposed Special Use Permit are invited to appear and state their <br />views, protests or objections. If you cannot appear personally at such meeting, then you are <br />urged to state your views by letter, particularly if you have objections to such Special Llse <br />Permit as the Board of County Commissioners will give consideration to the comments of <br />surrounding properly owners and others affected in deciding whether to grant or deny the <br />requested Special Use Permit. The Special Use Permit application may be reviewed at the office <br />of the Planning Department located at 109 8th Street, Glenwood Springs, Colorado, between <br />the hours of 8:00 a.m, and 5:00 p.m., Monday through Friday. <br />The public hearing on the application for the above Special Use Permit is set for the 3rd day <br />of June, 1993, at the hour of 8:00 A.M. in the Commissioners' Meeting Room, Suite 301, <br />Garfield County Courthouse, 109 8th Street, Glenwood Springs, Colorado. <br />Planning Department <br />Garfield County <br />
